Verona is a top destination hotspot for tourists in the northeastern part of Italy. Mentioned twice in the story of Romeo and Juliet, made famous by William Shakespeare, Verona now has a balcony that falsely claims historical connection to the story. This balcony, now a major tourist spot is visited by tourists worldwide and has a statue of the story’s Juliet. On the 30th of November, year 2000, the historical city of Verona was inscribed into the UNESCO’s World Heritage list.
Car hire in Verona is a growing business as many tourist destinations in Verona are reachable only by car. Plus, Verona has free parking space a bit of a tad away from it all, though. The city, unlike plenty of other Italian destinations for tourists, is best enjoyed with a private car service from car hire in Verona.
If you are in Verona with your family or you are traveling with a group of friends, you’ll find that car hire in Verona can ease your travelling load. And surprisingly, there are times, even on afternoon weekends, when traffic is light.
Verona is just a stone throw away from other significant places in the Veneto region. Places such as Padua, Vicenza, Montagnana, Cittadella and Castelfranco can be conveniently accessed if you have your own car or if you avail of the services of car hire in Verona. Just a bit farther are the peaks of the Dolomites and Lake Garda or you can use the car to get to Venice the capital of the Veneto region.
